Boglárka Csemer “Boggie” has become an essential figure of the Hungarian and international pop music scene with her single Nouveau Parfum (“Perfume”) and its innovative music video.
The singer will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Boggie production this year with a grand jubilee concert at Várkert Bazár on 24 August. Boggie's songs have been inspired by both the Hungarian and French culture: pop songs, chansons and the world of jazz are all featured on her albums, thereby creating a unique and distinctive style. During her 10-year musical career, Boggie has released four albums and performed countless concerts both in Hungary and abroad. In 2015, she represented Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest, where she qualified for the final, and in 2018, she sang at the SXSW Festival in the United States. In 2019, she was the opening act for French singer ZAZ in Budapest Park. Later that year, she toured the Baltic States, and in 2022, she went on stage in Algeria. Boggie is preparing for the festive concert with great excitement: in addition to her now-classics such as Parfüm (“Perfume”) and Japánkert (“Japanese Garden”), she will perform the top hits of her new album, too. What is more, the concert will feature a string quartet alongside the band, adding a new colour to the well-known melodies, and guest artists will also take the stage to make the concert truly memorable with Boggie.
