Belau - Hien - Maluridé

BELAU

Várkert Bazár’s Foundry Courtyard offers an exciting evening with three special electronica artists sharing the stage.

Belau has been gaining increased recognition in the international music scene, with the band’s concept album achieving great success. In the course of its five-year history, the band has achieved many successes outside Hungary as well, giving more than 200 concerts in 25 countries, including at international festivals such as Primavera, Electric Castle, Eurosonic, and the American SXSW. In recent years, radio stations like BBC Radio 1, Triple J, and KEXP played their songs, and international media outlets like the Billboard Magazine, Clash Music, The Line of Best Fit, and The Rolling Stone wrote appreciatively about them.

Ethereal vocals, fresh textures, and minimalist basics – Hien's eclectic musical identity has been influenced by many different sounds, from electronica through soul to Eastern styles. The Vietnamese-Hungarian singer started her musical career at the age of 15, and has given several concerts in European, Asian, and American metropolises.

Finally, Maluridé’s alternative musical genre is based on pop and electronic music, though its lyrical, lyric-focused vocal harmonies also use the tools of classical musical harmonies.

Only standing tickets are available for the concert.
