In 2025, StEFREM will hold their first-ever New Year's concert after 22 years of making music.
True to tradition, the seven-member vocal ensemble will present a genuine mix of styles on the first day of the year: Byzantine New Year's hymns, familiar melodies from the Vienna New Year's Concert, a capella pop covers, and original compositions will all feature in the concert – all spiced up with Efrém’s signature humour, virtuosity, and sassy mischievousness.
Based in Budapest, StEFREM is a vocal ensemble with a unique sound. This multiple award-winning formation performs regularly across Europe, from London to Bucharest, and has also toured Africa, India, and South America. They have collaborated with renowned artists such as Abeer Nehme, Victor Solomon, and the King's Singers. Since 2002, they have released 18 albums. Their rich and diverse repertoire comprises Byzantine and classical pieces, crossover arrangements, and a cappella pop songs.
The entrance fee also includes a glass of New Year's celebratory champagne.
