In this extraordinary summer evening concert, the Áron Tálas Trio returns with its unique musical vision: revisiting iconic classical themes through the lens of jazz. This summer evening concert promises to be a true clash of geniuses, as Áron Tálas is tasked with reimagining the visions and musical paintings of the greatest maestros. In classical music, the most expressive works were born in the genre of the symphonic poem, whose virtuoso was Franz Liszt. These "programme music" compositions, originally written to evoke literature, painting, landscapes or natural phenomena, are the perfect canvas for creative reinvention.
The Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra brings to life the grand visions of Borodin, Saint-Saëns, Dvořák, and of course, Liszt, while the Áron Tálas Jazz Trio responds in real time, weaving improvisations from the classical themes.
