Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the renovation of the Castle Garden Bazaar with the jubilee cultural season at our VárkertFeszt (“Castle Garden Fest”) arts festival from 31 May to 2 June. The three-day programme series will feature exhilarating family events, electrifying concerts, literary programmes, guided tours, workshops and special gastronomic surprises for young and old in the Castle Garden Bazaar. Explore the complex on the Buda side of the Danube, once one of the world's most endangered monuments, but now a bustling cultural hub again, adorned with a unique Neo-Renaissance garden making it a true gem of Budapest.
The Szakcsi Jazz Association was founded in August 2023 with the participation of 23 internationally renowned, top Hungarian jazz artists. Their aim is to preserve the spiritual heritage of Béla Szakcsi Lakatos and to promote jazz. Their biggest concert to date will take place in Castle Garden Bazaar, with the unique feature this time being that the members will play together in never-before-seen line-ups.
