Solaris 45

Few bands in Hungary can boast an uninterrupted 45-year career marked by continuous creativity and success on both the national and international stages. Solaris now celebrates this remarkable anniversary with the release of a monumental double studio album titled Marsbéli Krónikák III, which will be presented to the audience in a special concert at the Várkert Bazár stage.

In the first half of the evening, iconic pieces from the legendary debut album Marsbéli Krónikák, released 40 years ago, as well as its sequel Marsbéli Krónikák II, released twenty years later, will be performed. After the intermission, the highlight of the concert follows: the live premiere of the band’s latest album, Marsbéli Krónikák III.

The double album, subtitled Mi vagy M.I. (“We Are M.I.”), is a comprehensive concept album built around stories about artificial intelligence imagined by the band. The compositions are accompanied by a rich visual world, with video and graphic elements enhancing the concert experience. The band worked on the musical material for two years, and its release generated significant international acclaim. At several prestigious year-end professional polls, Marsbéli Krónikák III / Mi vagy M.I. was awarded “Progressive Rock Album of the Year.”
