Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the renovation of the Castle Garden Bazaar with the jubilee cultural season at our VárkertFeszt (“Castle Garden Fest”) arts festival from 31 May to 2 June. The three-day programme series will feature exhilarating family events, electrifying concerts, literary programmes, guided tours, workshops and special gastronomic surprises for young and old in the Castle Garden Bazaar. Explore the complex on the Buda side of the Danube, once one of the world's most endangered monuments, but now a bustling cultural hub again, adorned with a unique Neo-Renaissance garden making it a true gem of Budapest.

Zsuzsa Zs. Vincze's and Zoltán Zsuráfszky's first joint fairy tale not only revolutionised folk dance performances for children, but also interpreted a Grimm fairy tale known all over the world in a Hungarian style. In this performance of Sleeping Beauty every dance, song, recalled saying, folklore, or even incantation celebrates authentic Hungarian folk culture. The end result is an unmissable show that captivates children accustomed to television vibrancy while never failing to entertain adults.
