Since its formation nearly two decades ago, the Sárik Péter Trio has performed and recorded with numerous outstanding vocalists, performers and instrumentalists.
At the Castle Garden Bazaar gala evening, Katica Illényi, Tamás Berki, Nikoletta Szőke, and Krisztina Koszorus Koszika will join the trio on stage. This will be the first time for the four artists to ever perform together, promising an extraordinary concert for the audience on 4 January at the Castle Garden Bazaar.
Over the past ten years, the Sárik Péter Trio has become one of the most popular and influential jazz ensembles in Hungary. Their success is largely due to the versatility and openness of the three musicians. Their light, yet energetic performances evoke the atmosphere of pop concerts, even when presented in the grandest of concert halls. Alongside their original compositions, they often explore various musical genres, with several albums featuring fan-requested covers, while they also often delve into the world of classical music arrangements. Their album “Jazzkívánságműsor” won the Fonogram Award.
