After their highly successful New Year’s concert, StEfrem returns to one of their favorite Budapest venues, the Castle Garden Bazaar. This time they will enchant the audience with a festive Advent and Christmas program. They are preparing a sparkling and virtuosic performance that also offers moments of quiet reflection, with the ensemble’s own arrangements playing a central role.
Alongside the songs from their newly released Christmas EP, the evening will feature well-known pieces from their Lumen – Christmas Lights album, including Carol of the Sugar Plum Fairy, their reimagining of The Nutcracker, as well as Tamás Bubnó’s Abaúj Christmas Suite and Christmas Day, a medley of traditional English carols.
The guest of the evening is Edina Mókus Szirtes, who will join StEfrem with new collaborations and special surprises.
