Dezső Oláh and the Budapest Philharmonic Society orchestra

BFTZ_Zenében szabadon

What connects Hungarian folk songs with the music of Bartók and Kodály? And how do these same motifs come to life through the language of contemporary jazz? Music Without Boundaries invites audiences on a unique musical journey to discover these connections.

At this special concert, Junior Prima Award-winning jazz pianist Dezső Oláh joins the Budapest Philharmonic Society Orchestra to reimagine well-known Hungarian folk melodies in fresh colours and new musical contexts. The natural dialogue between classical music, folk traditions and jazz is further enriched by the distinctive sound of the Oláh Dezső Vibratone Quartet and the ethereal tones of the vibraphone.
