On January 24, on the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Culture, the audience is invited to a special evening.
In its production titled Örömtánc or Dance of Joy, the Fitos Dezső Company brings to life the magic of folk dance, the power of togetherness, and the joy of life expressed through movement. Artists from the SICC Theatre Company also take part in the performance, enriching the experience with their distinctive theatrical tools.
What makes a moment at a village wedding or a spinning room truly special? It is the instant when the music starts, the dance begins, and all the worries of life seem to disappear. This is the joy the performance evokes. It frees the soul, eases sorrow, and restores balance.
In its latest production, the company presents this age old force that works through both body and spirit. The performance brings to the stage the dances and cultural richness of various regions of the Carpathian Basin.
