Christmas concert of Tamás Szarka and his orchestra
The programmes of Kossuth Prize-winning performer, composer and poet Tamás Szarka represent the highest levels of Hungarian culture, creating a unique, mystical world of magic through the power of music and poetry. His Advent concert explores various facets of Christmas: its mystery, celebration, power of community building, traditions and new concepts deriving from these. Christmas, that most wondrous celebration of Christian culture, has never been performed in this style or quality, or on this scale in our time. The songs in Dancing in the Snow inspire the audience to raise their eyes to the sky and take note of other people, too. As we listen to the songs, deep feelings of vivacity, faith and love creep almost imperceptibly into our souls.
