This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Fonogram Award–winning Group’n’Swing, one of Hungary’s most renowned swing and boogie show bands. Over the past two decades, the band’s grand concerts have been held in Budapest’s most prestigious concert halls, making it a special honour and joy to present this anniversary performance in the distinguished setting of the Várkert Bazár. The programme features highlights from the band’s five studio albums, complemented by iconic international hits reimagined in Group’n’Swing’s distinctive swing–pop style. Audiences will hear well-known songs such as Elton John’s I’m Still Standing, Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now, and CeeLo Green’s Forget You, presented in arrangements rarely heard before. Classics from the golden age of swing are also included, with songs like New York, Fly Me to the Moon, Feelin’ Good, Sway, and I’ve Got You Under My Skin, all performed at the highest professional level. More than a concert, the evening unfolds as a dynamic, elegant, and visually engaging show. At its heart is Mujahid Zoltán’s refined vocal performance and charismatic stage presence, supported by the energy of the nine-member band, its powerful brass section, and virtuosic musicianship. The anniversary concert is both a celebration and a retrospective: twenty years of musical journey distilled into a single, memorable evening.
