Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Yvette Bozsik Company renewed one of its very first productions in honour of the jubilee year.
The performance called “Wedding Feast” is a surreal family picture of a village wedding. Through the presentation of the two families, we see passion, love, jealousy, and prejudices. The choreography blends grotesque elements of traditional folk dance with modern dance gestures, just as Félix Lajkó’s music blends folk music, jazz, and modern music.
