As the leader of Žagar, Balázs Zságer has been a leading figure of the Hungarian electronic music scene for twenty years. His albums have received wide international recognition, and his song titled Wings of Love has been played by a number of foreign radio stations and TV channels.
He has been credited with numerous theatre and film scores. In addition to the shows of BBC and CNN, his music can also be heard in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. However, besides the numerous awards and professional recognitions, his real strength is his ability to constantly renew and change himself, and in his new solo project, he turns toward ambient and experimental electronic music. During his live performances, he usually creates dreamlike and atmospheric, transcendent soundscapes, with synth textures and slowly changing processes. His music conveys a sense of transcendence; his compositions are often just as powerful and impressive as they are intimate and tender, while he seeks to keep his listeners in a hypnotic flow state.
